Sugihara Fine Furniture is a small furniture and interiors studio based in San Diego, CA. We specialize in solid wood heirloom pieces, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design sensibility.
Each piece is built one at a time utlizing both hand and power tools. Everything you see is available in a variety of wood species if you have something specific in mind.
We consider each piece one-of-a-kind because of the variable nature of the timber we use and the individual attention it demands.
The finish we use is a penetrating oil finish that is non-toxic and food safe once fully cured.
